File maintenance
1. Use one side of the new file first, and then use the other side after blunt use.
2. When rasping, the effective full length of the file should be fully used to avoid local abrasion.
3. Do not get oil and water on the file.
4. When filing, if the filing debris is embedded in the tooth gap, a wire brush must be used to remove the cutting debris on the filing tooth in time.
5. Do not rasp the hard skin of the blank and hardened workpieces. For rasp soft metals such as aluminum and tin, single-tooth files should be used.
6. If there is crust on the surface of the casting, use an old file or the i-tooth side of the file to remove the crust before processing.
7. The file must be cleaned after use to avoid rust.
8. Do not stack with other tools or workpieces, or overlap with other files, so as not to damage the teeth.
